I don’t find myself wanting the cigarettes so much anymore. I thought that this year would consist of me complaining about not smoking. I was incorrect.
I have noticed something interesting though. People say that they find themselves eating more when they stop smoking; I have not had that experience. However, I have found that my desire for alcohol has dramatically increased since I quit smoking. I don’t plan to quit drinking at this point, so I figure I should just stay aware of the issue and consciously control how much and what I drink. As you can see, I have chosen a lager with relatively low alcohol content.
